Daniel 7:13, 14 is describing the rulership of the earthly messiah and indicates that this rulership will last forever.  1 Corinthians 15:24 is describing the rulership of the heavenly messiah and indicates that his rulership is temporary in that "he (Jesus) hands the kingdom back to his heavenly father."
