               Most logically, Jesus would have been referring to the time period between the time he gave the “minas” to his disciples before his death in the 1^st century and the end of the Jewish System of Things in 70 C.E., a forty-year period.  This makes more sense than saying that Jesus has been with professed Christians for nearly two thousand years and who evidence no understanding of the Bible whatsoever.
