               They show that they do not know Jehovah at this late stage of the game by asking for a “sign” before they will believe His message to them during this “time of the end.”  They do not know that Jehovah views this act as offensive to Him and it eliminated them as “children of Abraham,” the “father of our faith.”  They also do not know that they are sinning, being totally disobedient to the “good news” as presented to them without any miraculous works.  If they had faith, they would accept this message as being from God no matter how “strange, fantastic or astonishing” it may sound to them.
