               While Jesus was attending the Passover festival, he performed many signs and the people who saw these “put faith in him.”  But the scripture then said that Jesus “did not entrust himself to them.”  Why not?  Because he knew that the “faith” that they put in him at that time was not real, genuine faith.  It was a “spur of the moment” type that would give out at the first sign of pressure put upon them.  It was “faith” that arose due to their seeing signs or miracles.
