              At Deuteronomy 18:22 the important point is made that the words that a person speaks in Jehovah’s Name “must occur or come true.”  This does not mean that the words spoken must come true immediately after being uttered, but they must be fulfilled at some future time.  So the emphasis should be on whether the prophecy ever came true and not on when it was originally thought that the prophecy would be fulfilled.
