           At both 1 Kings 2:4 and 8:25 David and Solomon repeated Jehovah’s promise that is their sons were obedient to Him, that "there will not be cut off a man of your form "sitting upon the throne" of Israel. Did Jehovah’s words mean that theses sons of David and Solomon would be sitting and waiting for ruler ship or would they be actually ruling? Psalms 55:19 speaks of Jehovah as sitting ENTHRONED. Certainly Jehovah is ruling although He is spoken of as ‘sitting.’
