           Daniel 12:1, 2 links the time of ‘great distress’ and the awakening of those who are "asleep in the ground of the dust" together showing these events to occur in consecutive order, one right after the other with no great amount of time between them. Certainly this scripture does not indicate that the resurrection will occur over a thousand-year period as is taught by the Watchtower Society.
