               We learn that Jesus was speaking to his disciples about a time that he called the “palingenesis” when he is sitting on his throne in heaven and they are also in heaven with him and will be judging “Israel.”  This has to be an “earthly” Israel as the spiritual Israel of the first century is already in heaven.  This particular “Israel” is now in complete apostasy and in need of a “palingenesis” or regeneration of faith.
