              First, the “two witness” group is too few in number to “torment” the world of mankind.  So their work must be aimed at a specific group of people.  In verse1 of this chapter, someone is told to “measure” the temple, the altar and those worshipping in it.  Verse 2 depicts the “holy city” being trampled for forty-two months.  These verses must be describing a people who are involved in worship of Almighty God, Jehovah.  The work of the “two–witnesses” must then be directed toward the organization of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
