              Babylon the Great described as one who “glorifies herself and lives in shameless luxury.”  She “sits as a queen “reveling” in her great wealth.  She causes all the nations to drink “the wine of the anger of her fornication” and the merchants become rich because of the “power of her shameless luxury.”  Also the “kings of the earth” live in shameless luxury with her and they commit fornication with her.”  She even has a “kingdom” over these “kings of the earth.”  (Revelation 17:18)
