              Jehovah’s Witnesses find themselves faced with National Apostasy.  This sin is so serious that it would cause Jehovah to “abandon” Israel if they prove to be totally unrepentant when it is brought to their attention.  Yes, He would be forced to distance Himself from His People by going to the wilderness.  (Deuteronomy 23:14; Numbers 35:34)
