              No, they are not the same.  The “kingdom” of Daniel 2:44 is the “stone” that is cut out of an already existing “mountain” and it grows until it eventually fills the entire earth.  (Daniel 2:34, 35, 44, 45)  This earthly “kingdom” would exist and act more as an extension or physical representation of the Grander Heavenly Governmental arrangement or the “kingdom” in Heaven that Jesus was referring to in John 18:36.
