Mark 4:30-32 compares the kingdom to a tiny mustard seed that grows to be a very large tree.
 
Ezekiel 17:22-24 compares the kingdom to a tender twig being plucked from a tall cedar and planted on a mountain where it will grow into a majestic cedar.
 
Zechariah 4:10 show it would be despised due to its smallness.
 
Ezekiel 44:3 and 45:22 show that this government would have as its leader the one called “the chieftain.”
 
Micah 4:1-4 pictures it as “Zion” a lofty mountain where the nations come to be instructed and to beat their weapons into useful utensils.
