              No, upon his resurrection to heavenly, Jesus chose to forego this right of earthly rulership and he accepted Jehovah’s offer to sit upon His (Jehovah’s) throne for a limited period of time, now two thousand plus years.  Jesus explained at John 16:14, 15 that he would give to the “spirit of truth” some of what belonged to him and one of these belongings would be his right to sit on David’s throne on earth.
