                           In each of the above scriptures “sitting upon the throne” always means “ruling as king.”  Psalms 55:19 speak of Jehovah “sitting enthroned” and we know He is ruling.  Therefore to say that Jesus “sat on his father’s throne” and was not ruling does not make much sense.
