           Mercy is defined as ‘an expression of kind consideration or pity that brings relief to those who are disadvantaged. It also means having tender compassion and at times it may mean a lightening of judgment or punishment.’ This article explains that when a person is brought into judgment by God and he proves to be one who has shown mercy, pity or compassion to those in need of such, then Jehovah will Himself show them mercy in his judgment of them. Their having been merciful will have triumphed over any adverse judgment they might have received from Jehovah.
