           Jesus compares the person or one that truly believes in him with being the one from which ‘out of his INMOST PART streams of living water will flow.’ John tells us that he was speaking of the future activity of the Spirit. We could make application of this to the first century as well as to our modern day, which would make this a paradigm or ‘beside example,’ that is, a type and anti-type. We can then compare the activity of the holy spirit in the first century and its ‘restorative work’ with that of the modern-day Servant and his efforts of restoration as the foretold "Elijah."
