              We learn that many passages in the bible speak of the SAME Jerusalem in an unfavorable light but who are later spoken of as being restored to God’s favor.  Also the same Jerusalem is spoken of as having a good standing before Jehovah but who later embarks upon an unrepentant course of sin and becomes estranged from Him.  After a period of discipline, they are restored to His favor.
