         If Jesus were the physical offspring of David and Abraham, he would most certainly have to be the offspring of Eve also because these two men were offspring of Eve. Jesus was a perfect man while David and Abraham were both imperfect; therefore, Jesus could not be a physical descendant of these imperfect men, that is, he could not have come from the ‘loins of David’ or be the physical ‘seed’ of Abraham. It would be easy to understand why a Jehovah’s Witness would experience cognitive dissonance when trying to explain this concept.
