                According to the Watchtower Society, the “seven heads” on this beast represents seven successive governments down through the ages that have exercised world rulership beginning with Egypt, then Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome and finally the Anglo-American dual world power.  This cannot be correct as this would mean that the Apostle John was being given a vision of the distant past rather than the future as Revelation 1:1 and 4:1 clearly states.  Therefore, these seven heads on this beast will all be contemporary governments existing at the same time in our day.
