           Romans 5:18 declares that ‘through one act of justification, men of all sorts can be declared righteous for life.’ Through the shed blood of Jesus this ‘second goat,’ or ‘second bird,’ this imperfect man, can be declared righteous in God’s sight. Acts 13:39 says, in part, "everyone who believes is declared guiltless by means of this One [Jesus]." Of course, we know this was true of all that believed in Jesus in the first century.
