           The Watchtower Society believes the ‘chieftain’ represents the ones who will be ‘princes’ over the earth during the 1,000-year reign, that is those who are serving as elders in the congregations today. Ezekiel 46:16, 17 tells us that the ‘chieftain’ will have "sons and servants" to whom he will give gifts of property to. Would it seem logical to you that the elders in the congregations would be given such a responsibility as this? They have done nothing to merit this high respect from others of mankind such that they would have ‘servants’ attending them.
