         These resurrections are similar in that the two witnesses are in a dead-like condition having been "killed" by the "wild beast" when he stopped their service to God. They therefore die as martyrs before God and mankind. After a period of time of being ‘dead’ they are resurrected to ‘heaven’ in that God exalts them to a new ‘life.’ They now have His everlasting favor. (Daniel 7:25, 26; Revelation 5:10)
