             Daniel 8:9 pointedly says that this “horn, a small one, kept getting greater toward the SOUTH and toward the sun rising and toward the Decoration.”  This means that he is against both the [King of the] “South” and the [land of the] “Decoration.”  He cannot, therefore, be the “South” and be against it.
