The Salvation Of The Servant-Messiah--Isaiah chapter 49

Greetings Y.O.R.W.W. Congregation
Attention: Bejay
I have come across another interesting chapter in the Book of Isaiah during the Y.O.R.W.W. scheduled daily Bible reading. The Ryrie NIV study Bible places the heading, "The Salvation Of The Sevant-Messiah" on Isaiah chapter 49. This title seems to be an appropriate heading. The Webster’s Unabridged Dictionary defines the word Servant as: "1. the act of saving or protecting from harm, risk loss, destruction 3. a source, cause, or means of being saved or protected from harm, risk, or etc."
Isaiah 49 verse 6 talks about saving Israel and it reads, "to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept." NIV Verse 6 goes on by saying, "I will also make you a light for the Gentiles that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth." In this verse, Jehovah talks about restoring both the tribes of Jacob and being a light for the Gentiles.
What is exactly meant in the expression, "make you a light for the Gentiles"? Are these Gentiles perhaps part of the 200 million that will join the MDS in the near future or could these be the ones that join the MDS after the 200 million number has been fulfilled?
Another interesting verse is located in Isaiah 49 verse 20. It seems to be a prophecy that has not yet been fulfilled. Verse 20 reads, "The children born during your bereavement will yet say in your hearing, This place is too small for us; give us more space to live in." NIV It seems quite unlikely that this verse is referring to Israel of the past. The land area that Jehovah gave Ancient Israel was not small; there was plenty of room for all.
Perhaps Isaiah chapter 49 verse 20 is a future fulfillment that is related to Acts chapter 1 verse 6. If this is a future fulfillment, why would Israel be restored to land that the "children" consider small?
Thanks much for your time.
