Thanks visitor,
...Just wanted to add this thought: Members of YORWW Congregation meet every Saturday and Sunday at noon central time, in the LWF Chat Room #2 (sometimes we stay till 6:00 pm central time)...to answer any questions that any would have on our work here at LWF. Also remember, at these specially designed chatrooms, you don't have to register or give out any personal information or even your email address in order to enter and participate in our new Chatroom facility. No, but all you do is just type in any name that you wish to use for that particular session, any name as long as no one is using it currently (but do not enter a "password" underneathe) and then, simply press the "chat" button at the bottom of screen -- and presto -- you are in! And immediately after you enter, just look to the right, and select room #2 (where most of us will be) or any other room you wish to enter to begin chatting with others of like faith. Its just that simple!
Hope to see many of you this weekend...Enjoy!

First time I have been here and happy to find this site. Saw many things that make sense. Started to read about the king of the north as Osama bin Ladden and have to say that I'm more than a little dubious about your conclusion reached there. Seems a bit far-fetched, ridiculous actually.

Why would you say Osama Bin Laden as "King of the North" is far-fetched, ridiculous?

Greetings Guest2:
LOL...I get that comment all the time.
I guess my question to you would be, why is it not a "ridiculous" assumption to you, as it is to soooo many people who first hear this message.
Awaiting your answer,
BTW, thanks for posting...

Well, I've heard it before. I've given it a lot of thought. It makes good scriptural sense to me.

I read your post on the 2nd kingdom. Very easy reading and it gives a full picture of the subject.

The WT taught us that Eze. 28:12-19 refered to Satan the Devil. Is this correct or does this apply just to the Tyre?

Hi Guest2:
I'm Pleased to make your acquaintance.
Yes, we believe the WTS was correct is saying that Ezekiel 28:12-19 applied to the King of Tyre, and by way of
extension to Satan the Devil also. So in this way, The King of Tyre would be the "type" or the typical fulfillment of the prophecy, and Satan, by way of extension would be the Greater Anti-typical fulfillment of the prophecy.
Hope this helps.

I’m a former student of YORWW. I started studying in December 1998 after being inactive for a year from JW’s. I wrote my letter of disassociation in December 1999. I stayed with the group until March of 2002. After a season of trials in late 2001, I withered away from the group. I liken myself to a slave that didn’t keep his lamp filled. Knowing the truth and standing up for it can very be different. Soooo, as YORWW would say, I’m interested in joining the bible study group so that I can bring my thinking back in line with Jehovah’s and the mysterious Chieftain. That’s my short version. If the Y.O.R.W.W. Congregation doesn’t mine, I would like to join some of your discussions in your scheduled bible reading.
P.S. congratulations on your retirement Bejay.

Yes, by all means, please join us in our discussions of daily bible reading. We would very much appreciate your comments on the bible reading.
And thanks for your comment on my recent retirement. As you know, I've waited a long time for this day, and whew! I'm glad its finally here.
And, welcome again to LWF Discussion Board!
