The NGO-UN Situation -- What Should Have Been Done About It!

THE NGO-UN SITUATION -- WHAT SHOULD JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES HAVE DONE ABOUT IT!

(Leviticus 26:12) And I shall indeed walk in the midst of you and prove myself your God, and you on your part, will prove yourselves my people.

Yes, Jehovah proclaimed that He Himself would “reside” among His Own People, so they must always remember to keep the camp of Israel clean, free of corruption so that they did not defile His holy land with acts of wickedness. Jehovah said to His People:

“And you must not defile the land in which you are dwelling, in the midst of which I am residing; for I Jehovah am residing in the midst of the sons of Israel.” -- Numbers 35:34

Yes, Jehovah stated that He Himself, “resided,” among His People. And as the bible text above shows at Leviticus 26:12, yes all the while residing there, Jehovah Himself would “walk in the midst” of His Own Name People to make routine inspections, to make sure “nothing indecent” was to be found among them. (See Deut. 23:14.) That being the case, how could any Israelite, any of God's Name People, think or imagine that Jehovah would not see wickedness practiced in secret? Then too, how can we today imagine that Almighty God, our God Himself would not see the brazen acts of wickedness on the part of the Watchtower Society and Governing Body, even if it was originally practiced in secret? Still we must know, as Jehovah surveys the camp of Israel, and CAREFULLY “INSPECTS” His Name People closely, surely we could not possibly imagine that our God, Jehovah, simply would not see, all of the bad things that are being done “in secret” among the leading members of modern day “Israel,” Jehovah's witnesses -- these horrible things being done behind closed doors even. (Luke 19:44) No, we could not imagine such a thing, can we? Instead, we realize this becomes the proverbial type of situation that Jesus warned his disciples against, by saying:

“For there is nothing hidden that will not become manifest neither anything carefully concealed that will never become known and never come into the open.” -- Luke 8:17

Therefore the wicked “hidden,” “carefully concealed” actions of the Governing Body of Jehovah's witnesses as regards the NGO-United Nations Affair, becomes just like the type of “hidden” apostate activity described by the prophet Isaiah who vividly described these ones of his day by saying:

“Woe to those who are going very deep in concealing counsel from Jehovah himself, and whose deeds have occurred in a dark place, while they say: “Who is seeing us, and who is knowing of us?” -- Isaiah 29:15

Indeed, many Jehovah's witnesses are finding out to their horror, that yes, many transgressions have been committed by their leadership, the Governing Body “in a dark place” away from the vision of the general populous among God’s Name People.

To be sure, God's Word makes plain the course to be taken by one who is truly repentant when serious "sins" have been committed by saying:

"He that is covering over his transgressions will not succeed, but he that is confessing and leaving them will be shown mercy." -- Proverbs 28:13; See also James 5:14-16; 1 John 1:9.

However, as we all know, the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses did NOT confess their "sins" before the congregation of God's Name People.

And of course, the infamous "sin" we speak of is the most notable transgression of recent, yes the clandestine NGO-United Nations Affair, that was publicly revealed on Monday, October 8, 2001 in the Guardian News of the UK.

But, someone would say at this point:

Jehovah's Witnesses don't know anything about this "hidden" sin...isn't that true? Many are not even aware that such a "sin" has been committed.

Even though this is true, based upon whats taught in the Holy Scriptures...still we have to say, even in cases where the sin is "hidden," God’s Name People are still to be held responsible…yes, THEY ARE TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE...even when such hidden transgressions are finally revealed before them. And why do we say this? Well, God’s Word says at Leviticus 4:13-15:

“Now if the entire assembly of Israel makes a mistake and the matter has been hidden from the eyes of the congregation in that they have done one of all the things that Jehovah commands should not be done and so have become guilty, and the sin that they have committed against it HAS BECOME KNOWN, then the congregation must present a young bull for a sin offering and must bring it before the tent of meeting. And the older men of the assembly must lay their hands upon the bull’s head before Jehovah, and the bull must be slaughtered before Jehovah.”

Did you notice in the verses quoted, that even in cases where the sin was originally “hidden,” but later became known, that atonement for the “sin” still had to be made, to become fully acceptable to Jehovah…did you notice this? Of course, this means hidden sins, even though no one knows about it at first, still have to be confessed and forgiveness sought from the face of Jehovah, when the sin becomes known to the general assembly of God’s Name People, Israel.

Therefore this means, when the heinous NGO-United Nations Affair became known to all concerned, (or to whomever that came into this knowledge) in the year of 2001 by the Hand of Jehovah Himself, then it became the duty and responsibility of this smaller group to "spread the news" yes, to the larger entire world wide association of Jehovah’s witnesses so as to CORRECT the offending party (Governing Body), to reprove and discipline them even, (based upon evidence of repentance or not), for their direct hand in the perpetration of this wickedness.

Indeed, Leviticus 5:1 says:

"Now in case a soul sins in that he has heard public cursing and he is a witness or he has seen it or has come to know of it, if he does not report it, then he must answer for his error."

Yes, as shown above from Leviticus 5:1, the world wide congregation structure of Jehovah's Witnesses should have become the "witnesses" to the heinous sin of the Governing Body, via the news release of the Guardian newspaper, which gave the specifics of the Governing Body's close association and wrongful affiliation with the United Nations as an NGO supporter. Then, and only then after the nation of Jehovah's Witnesses had taken that particular action toward the Governing Body, then they could appropriately seek forgiveness from the face of Jehovah, as it were, making efforts to “soften the face” of God because of this heinous crime, this vile wickedness that was unrepentantly covered over since the early 1990s. Yes, this is what Jehovah's witnesses should have done as a group or united nation of worshipers of Jehovah. But of course, years later, no one has done this, nor is anyone planning on doing this, even to date as you read this article. No, we know Jehovah's Witnesses as a group or organization, no...have NOT done this at all.

Therefore, because of NOT acting in behalf of Jehovah's Name, to “clear themselves” as Paul warned, Jehovah must now punish yes, the ENTIRE NATION of Jehovah's witnesses for these “hidden,” “concealed” acts of wickedness! Yes, now all Jehovah's witnesses (current and former) all of them, WORLD WIDE...must be punished! -– Daniel 9:13; 2 Corinthians 7:11
